Bought an old (circa 1880s?) pony banjo here on the BanjoHangout Marketplace. Nice little banjo, in good, playable condition, for once. No maker’s mark. Fret markers, but no frets.

Going by the fret markers, what is the nominal scale?

The last fret marker is the 12th, and is 9 inches from the nut to that fret marker. So the scale length is 18 inches.
