Yes, around 1930 - 1932 TB-Kel Kroydon or Gibson TB-1.

Sounds like a factory order number rather than a serial - though in practice the difference is largely academic.

banjophiles shows that batch as a 1931 with style 1s and kel kroydens in the mix.

 As explained, it's an FON (factory order number). It's #14 of batch 9792.

It could be a legitimate serial number (FON), but that does not mean it is a legitimate Gibson.  Photos will help!
