Wow Marco just great! Loved the part when that banjo starts bouncing on your knee!

Sweet Marco. Two banjos gives a more complex sound. What kind of banjo are you playing in the bottom screen? As always I’m impressed with your playing and recording ability.

Jerry, Mike, Rob, thank you for appreciating! heart

Mike, the banjo in the bottom screen is Vegavox, produced by the Vega factory in 1955. it's one of the last fitted with a a wooden truss rod.

What is the most common key for SGB?

SunnylandBob - Posted - 01/26/2021:  19:00:31

The most commonly used keys for this tune are Ab and F. I'm not sure what key the original sheet music was published in. I learned it at the Long Island Banjo Society - where they played it in G.

BTW - I'm late to posting over here at BHO but once again fabulous stuff, Marco!

Caressing your frets to the limit Marco, a beaut job!. ...... Don.
ps I'm with Bob, G was the original key, but F and Ab, were always the go in jazz bands.

It's A-flat, but not the only one, IMO.
