I could sit down and work this out myself from sheet music, but I would rather use a tab that has been road tested and worthy. Also, it would take me a while to do it, so , call me lazy, but I still want a tab..I wrote to Jack Ray of banjo academy but havent heard back from him yet. He does a great job of playing...as does Tim Allan.
I used to play it on 5 string banjo...I think it was Fred Sokolows arrangement (Kicking Mule Records) and it was fun to do, but I no longer own a 5 string.
Thanks in advance.

There's a tab for 5 string banjo in the archives. Could you take that and work it out from listening and getting the chords and the melody? Go here: banjohangout.org/tab/browse.as...l&v=19660 and here: banjohangout.org/tab/browse.as...&v=10796.

I haven't got a tab and haven't tried to play this one - it is, however, in the Roy Smeck 'Ragtime Banjo' book for both tenor and plectrum banjo (sheet music, not tab).

Thanks for the information on the Roy Smeck book....sheet music is fine with me... at least it would be arranged in a banjo friendly key I would think.
I will get the book.
