I'm looking for tabs for The Wind that Shakes the Barley in melodic style key of D. Has anyone seen or written out these tabs? I've got a bunch of it figured out but finding a couple of tricky spots. I'm pretty new to melodic style. I should also mention, I'm looking to do it in standard G tuning.

Much thanks for looking at this post.

Bela Fleck put out a tutorial cd with tab that has it too. I believe it is called banjo picking styles.

Heres s link to the fleck tutorial. Dont mix this up with the longer more expensive one that goes by the same name .this one is his first one. I dont know if the other one has your tune on it. Anyway this one is great .its not flecktone stuff, but not for beginners either. Lots of great tunes on it. Texas bar b que is worth the whole tutorial

There's one tab in the tab archives for that song, but it's for Clawhammer and old time. Go here: banjohangout.org/tab/browse.as...l&v=18201

There's one that's melodic but it's in the key of D. Maybe you could transpose it or someone could transpose it for you. Go here: banjohangout.org/tab/browse.as...l&v=22984

Here's another one that's in the key of D: banjohangout.org/tab/browse.as...l&v=20741

I've moved your thread from Bluegrass forum to Tab forum. If you're looking for tab, that's the right place for it and more people may respond to your request.

Thanks for the resources and for moving my request to the appropriate section. You guys are incredible. I hope to be playing this along side my wife on the fiddle by tonight.
