I'm getting in to the Christmas spirit, and I was hoping there was some Christmas songs on here (tabs). Clawhammer is preferred, but I'm down to learn some two/three finger songs!

Check out our tab archives. There are several Christmas songs.

Look on the left hand side of your page and under Learn, click on Banjo Tab Library and either do a search for the title of the song or click on the appropriate letter and scroll to see if it's in the library.

Most of our tabs are Tabledit (tef) and you need the right software to download, play and print. You can get a demo called TefView here: tabledit.com/tefview/index.shtml.

All our tabs are free. Download, print, play, enjoy!

I can't give you tab, but here is White Christmas frailed. You can go to youtube and slow it down.

Several clawhammer arrangements at ezfolk.com/banjo/

And here is some single note stuff that you can adapt to your style of playing: banjotabs.org/category/christmas/

You have to search carefully, but you can find some clawhammer banjo tunes here as well: manythings.org/banjo/tunes/

Here are five arrangements for someone with some advanced skills: clawhammerbanjo.wordpress.com/...jo-tunes/

Josh Turknett, a BHO member/teacher, has offered his book "12 Days of Banjo" for free. You might take a look on his website or member page to see if he still offers it.

Finally, BHO member/teacher Mike Iverson has for sale a book of Christmas banjo tabs. You can find the link here: banjoutah.com/styled-16/styled-18/

I've been "noodling" some banjo tunes, but the truth of the matter is that if I want to have a Christmas song or tune ready for the season I have to start in July!

Jack Hatfield has a book of tunes in 3-finger style. They are beginner to intermediate in difficulty and I’ve enjoyed learning them.

It’s near the bottom of this page hatfieldmusic.com/page3.html
