I sent request emails to Accurate Custom Tablature and Bluegrass Outlet for some tabs of songs I wanted to buy. I have used both in the past and got quick responses. Are they still in business? Both have excellent tabs. I haven't heard anything back from either. Just wondered if anyone knew. Thanks to BHO, a wonderful community of like minded folks who love the sound of the banjo.

I have no idea, but if you need tabs, you might contact Jack Baker. He sells his tabs and posts a lot of tabs here on the Hangout. He's a member, PM him the tab you want and see if he has it/will tab it out.

I have bought a number of Jacks tabs and he is fantastic. I'll check with him to see if he has the ones I am after. Thanks Sherry

Braeden does the transcriptions and is amazing at it and is a really great guy. Tell him Robbie sent you.
You can feel out an order form on his site or email him first to discuss it. I’ve had three done over the past 6 months and they all have been really great and one was done in like
two days the other two within a week.

Hi Barry,

I don't do custom tabs anymore as they've all been pretty much tabbed out before. The two songs you asked for are pretty much just repeat breaks of older Earl songs and should be very easy for you to figure out. They are both about 10 measure breaks and very easy at that...You are listed as "Purty Good" so I don't think you'll have any problems tabbing them out...Good luck...Jack

Barry,

You really should be able to tab out these simple tunes at this point in time. Give it a try, measure by measure and use the slowdowner. Earl plays the same exact licks in just about any song he's ever played, just in different orders....Jack

Jack, are you saying that Earl recorded Sweet Blue Eyed Darling? If I can find a good recording of someone playing a tune, I can sometimes learn a similar break. I haven’t found a recorded version.

Hi Barry,

Blue eyed darlin is usually associated with Bill Monroe. But the banjo breaks are always the same as Earl back then....Jack
