When I got my Jarvis Newman 32 in '05 I put a new first aid kit aboard. Our Hamilton Marine had a great selection and I got the Orion 943.Orion's big in break-down pistols that fire a 12 ga. flare among other things nautical.
Anyway the great packaging along with the waterproof case has kept this unused/sealed FA kit in new condition.
There are a total of 26 sanitized wipes, large gauze pads up to 5x9 for excellent face mask material,6 pair of gloves, tape, butterflies and ointments.
Probably won't need the Dramamine.
Great kit to throw into the car.
On the masks I'm thinking of putting jersey on either side of a piece of this gauze.I have some shop goggles with the elastic to rob.
When I pulled down the first aid kit from an upper shelf a round spray bottle of "Symmetry" hand sanitizerfell to the floor.I looked closer and there was a little 1 oz. bottle of Purell.
I call it all a great reward for cleaning up a little.Good stock for the car when getting groceries and gasoline.
I just got back from "Uptown" with my free 42"x42" Carousel dinner napkin/tablecloth piece w/hemmed edges and paid $2 for a handful of foot long elastics and a printed out folding/elastic attaching directions.
Then I went next door to Harbor Freight and got O rings for my tractor and a great pair of $7 leather gloves. All this accomplished wearing a painter's mask. Can't wait to make some out of the big napkin.Easier breathing.
Got the news from Stanford Emergency Human Medicine. "The only COVID-19 vaccine we have at the moment is knowledge."
I'm not sick. The few people that I see in the hospital 3X per week are not sick. I don't wear a mask. I have superb masks good right down to chemical filters. I have a very robust immune system as well.
First Aid. At the shop where I get all automotive repairs and maintenance done, I asked what sort of First Aid Kit they kept in the shop. Looks like a bulky 3-ring binder with a zipper cover. Pages in it that turn.
The medical supply house was just across the street so I toddled over there and bought 2 = one for the house, one for the vehicle. Hope I only ever need to use them on somebody else.
