Save some more $$$ and get yourself a RK-35. That MM Rocky Top is just another Asian banjo shaped object, if you buy it you will regret it down the road. They can be made to sound so-so but the overall quality and components just are not there. The RK-35 is 5 times better IMO.
I thought this would be an easy question to research yourself. But I've just looked at their website and there's some hokum about "Building on this piece of American history" but no mention of the fact that they're made in China.
Bodine50 The Morgan is a low feature rig with hex shoes and a shoe and plate design. They always look good, don't they. What about recourse with the supplier? Who are they?
Recording King isn't about where they are made, but how. They have a great network of customer service. When I call, I can speak with a person. The quality is overseen by Greg Rich. They sell out. Take a look at the RK R20, it's competitive.
They are all sheltered in place at home right now. Thank the warehouseman, he's all alone.
I concur about the RK's. We have MM and others here from China. While they look nice, the quality and sound just isn't there. The RK's are made in China but to a high spec that has been laid down by Greg Rich. I have one and owned one previously and when I compare them mto the brands that come out of China, its RK hands down.
