As a result of the current health crisis, many events have been cancelled and businesses closed...including the American Banjo Museum. In an effort to keep the museum's mission moving forward (and to provide some interesting programming for the banjo community), the museum is presenting a series of virtual museum tours, concerts and workshops each day. These programs are scheduled daily at NOON...some will be live and some featuring archival footage of concerts and events.
The subject of the LIVE Thursday, April 2nd program will be BANJO SET-UP. I will show you ways to tweak your banjo to obtain the best sound and playability. While this will be aimed primarily at four-string tenor and plectrum banjos, much of the info being shared will apply to any type of banjo. Be prepared to submit your questions LIVE and I'll do my best to answer them.
The following day (Friday, April 3rd), I will be doing a LIVE "by request" virtual performance. If you have a favorite song you'd like to hear, send it in either live or in advance...if I know it - and if I like it, I'll play it (just kidding, I don't even have to like it!)
To access these programs, just go to FACEBOOK and search for AMERICAN BANJO MUSEUM at NOON...then scroll down to the LIVE VIDEO window and click it to join the live programs.
