I have a Dayton tenor banjo on my bench. #1734 Looks like an 11'' head. Looks to me like a 10 15/16 " head would fit. Not sure of the crown height neither. Any one have some experience with these banjos. Seems like a fine instrument and is in great shape, just getting it up and running. Thanks. Jimmy DeHeno 810 278 2332

Measure across the rim in four or five different places and you should find out what the diameter is. A 10 15/16" head will not fit an 11" rim. If it has a flat head ring then a medium crown head is usually safe to use.
