I am working Lon “Jingle Bells.” I have done it easier a few years ago. Now I am able to pick the melody.

I just put up this one. It is a 5-string banjo but I don't play the fifth string at any point so I think I get a pass. smiley

Since Joanne mentioned Jingle Bells, I’ll throw that one into the pot. It’s actually the only Christmas song I’ve worked up so far. I tried to spice it up a little using some alternate licks and chords. Brother Laurence is a tough act to follow though!

First, all props & praise to Laurence's unspeakably beautiful harmonization, and Brother Greg's classic style.

Yours truly, however, carefully chooses a petrified re-tread from the archives of both BHO and my collegiate years. Self-penned and produced in a apoplectic fit of creativity - part of a comedy holiday sub-cult cassette entitled "Xmas Favorites by Three Wise Guys" in 1983. The vocal is sped up tape of Herman Abinette and just what you'd expect from the friend who worked at Eastport's Record Stop back then. Also about the time of my connections with Eddy Davis, Cynthia Sayer, Roy Smeck & many more. Epiphone Recording A tenor and a trusty Rickenbacker bass. Just add tape...God rest ye, TEAC 144 Portastudio.
