Vous positionnez le microphone pour un son en direct plutôt que pour l'enregistrement, non? Cela dépend de quel style vous jouez. Si vous jouez avec un plectre ou avec des doigts, placez le microphone juste au-dessus de la tête de banjo près du point de rencontre de la touche. Si vous jouez avec Clawhammer, placez le microphone un peu plus près du pont. Mais assurez-vous que vous êtes aussi proche que possible du microphone, à angle droit, avec la tête perpendiculaire au microphone. Bonne chance.

If you're playing an open back a lot of performers use nylon tie wraps to attach a 57 to the coordinator rods or dowel stick.

Back in the mic locker unless using with a low impedance preamp or an 800 Ohm resister wired in parallel to lower the input impedance (easy to make). The 150 Ohm output impedance was fine in the 1960s but is just wrong for modern PA systems.  The load mismatch causes increased proximity effect, high frequency distortion and makes them prone to feedback.



Better microphones for modern PA systems have been introduced in the last 55 years. An AKG D5, for example, has a 600 Ohm output making it ideal for solid state PAs and mixers with 1800–3000 Ohm impedance.
