Hi all,
Watty here, im a new member and a new banjo player! I have used plenty of forums in the past and was just after some specific guidance on where I could post my "topic" / thread.
The plan is to sort of document my journey in the world of the banjo. From purchase right through until I kick the bucket!
So what I wanted to do is start a thread and continually update my journey with videos, pictures, writing ect. for years to come. So I can track my progress and (hopefully) eventual mastery!
Where would be the best section to start this thread and continue to add to it indefinitely?
Thanks in advance,

G'day Watty,

if it's just your own personal story, maybe your blog page available from your profile page?

Some folk document their progress via regular video postings, so there's that option.

Use the blog as listed under your account rather than the forum.

I agree, if you want to post daily or weekly or whenever about your progress, your blog is the correct place to do so. There are several other members who have done exactly that and some of us find it interesting to read about someone's journey into the world of banjo.

Good luck on your journey. Have fun and don't get frustrated. There's a lot to learn, so take it slow and easy and you'll do fine.

Welcome to the hangout.

Yes, the Blog. And notice that anytime you post to a forum you get a pointer to the posts on your home page. As a beginner you should utilize the forums to help understand the banjo and any problems you are having. Also note that just about any question you might have has been hashed out many times in the forums, so use the search engine before you post.

Good luck on your banjo journey!

Thanks for the tip all. Had no idea there was a blog section. When you say “every time you post to the forum you get a pointer to you’re home page” what do you mean by that.
Thanks guys
