Been gone from here a long time now. Circumstances...... Been battling cancer for a couple of years now, think I've got it beat back. Playing in a local winter jazz band with John Skillman(clarinet). He writes the arrangements and brother does he like a lot of chord changes, no simple backups here. I have assimilated about 150 lead sheets in the last year. It's not helping my solo stuff much except for fill-ins, but it is fun to play with a band after playing for myself for so long.

It DOES sound like fun, and you deserve it! Best of luck to you with health and chord changes!
