Today I've got a nearly "last minute" gig with these three guys with whom I never played before, No rehearsal, no schedule. I heard this tune a lot of times before, but never played it. In my opinion this quartet swings good. Beside, I can, at last, appreciate the sound of my Deering: I've got a decent voice from that instrument by removing the reso and fitting a mute. So much of the unwanted harmonics have been cut off.
