If you mention Eddie Erickson, you really have to add his buddy and "partner in crime," the great Bill Dendle, Plectrum Banjoist Extraordinaire. Here is Bill's beautiful version of Goofus:

He has taught many young musicians the music of trad jazz. His playing is very unique, much like Eddie Erickson’s. They are both such a joy to watch and listen to.

A few fun facts about Mr. Dendle:

- He was married for a long time to Carol Fehr, Ed Fehr’s daughter.

- he has been the director at the Teagarden Jazz Camp for 25+ years.

- Don Van Palthe was his teacher and mentor.

- Bill is also a great trombonist.

- Bill is a vegan

- he used to lead the South Market Jazz Band

- Bill lives in Sacramento with his ebullient wife Shelley Burns
