Hey Eddy, here's a little "All Too Soon". I just got in from Scranton, and wanted to put something down this evening. I don't quite have the lyrics yet, so I was reading them from your sheet. Thanks a Million my friend. I love this stuff.
Hey Dave- that's a great number played by a great banjoist. I've always enjoyed your playing style and count myself among your fans. I too feel the same about Eddie and Don. I never met Don, but listen to him often. I met Eddie at All Frets in Buffalo with Mike Vignola and I was honored that he played my Vega Artist one evening, although he busted my b***s about using light strings. Eddie is a true gentleman and plays banjo like "Bill Shakespeare plays English". Hoping to see you and Julia at one of the upcoming 2019 banjo events. Belated Happy New Year. Denny McMahon
Hey Denny! Julia and I hope to see you soon too.....hey man.....I've been using that pick grip you gave me! I love it.......I had to take the grip off and put in a higher guage pick....but I love that grip!
Dennis I've never been compared to Shakespeare before -- I like it! Hope we see you soon Denny. Now to my old mate Don -- He's got a smile that'll make all the flowers smell like ROSES. (And I love roses) Then to David and his lovely Julia -- Ruth and I sure remember meeting them just a couple of years ago. He's one of the fastest learners I've ever seen. BUT one has to remember he's one of the finest 5 string players around, but we don't see any of that on the 4 string forum. He asks for a lead sheet and the next day he puts up a beautiful thing like this. What a guy. Little Eddy Ray from Indiana.
