The Manhattan Minstrel Eddy Davis playing and singing an Isham Jones song, which was recorded by the great FUN Dixieland Band "The Firehouse Five Plus Two". When George Probert reproduced the group for the "Breada Jazz Festival" I played the Drums. Davis is playing on his Custom OME 12" head - 17 fret Tenor Banjo. A Guitar tuned Banjoist, who was in the production staff of Disney by the name of Harper Goff was on this recording. This band was a large part of what kept the "Dixieland" type of music on the map. It was lead by Trombonist Ward Kimball. If you are not familiar with this group you should check it out. GREAT FUN! Eddy
