Hi there!
I just made an account here after buying a banjo recently, having absolutely no previous musical experience or music theory. But I fell in love with the banjo and am trying to teach myself through YouTube videos and Pete seegers book on the 5 string banjo.
One song I found that I really fell in love with is Buck Trent’s “until dawn.” I cannot link to the song as this is my first post but it is easy to find on youtube.
There was a clip of him playing it on the porter wagoner show that I tried over and over to follow along with but I cannot find the clip and when it was online, as a beginner, it was hard for me to figure it out because the camera rarely showed either of his hands for long. Anyone out there who could figure it out?

Until Dawn - Buck Trent, here's the link to the tune. Why don't you learn the basics a while before you attempt this one? You will find it much easier to learn with a solid foundation. Get a teacher for at least a few lessons to get you started in the right direction. Good luck.

That's my favorite Buck Trent original. He has a new album coming out with that on it too.
