How are you getting the upstrokes? thumb ,finger or any finger nail.



are those metal strings

Hi Tom, I enjoy hearing from you. It's all with the Thumb. Playing with other musicians I use a pick, but just by myself I've always used my thumb. Use to play an Electric Bass with my Thumb and Pick with the "Big Tiny Little Show" (from Lawrence Welk) Tiny liked the pick. I always play the Up-right Bass with my Finger.
I feel that with my thumb It's more personal. Eddy (A Minstrel)
