I have the day off, so I'm messing with one of my favorites this morning. Do you have any chord substitution ideas for me Eddy? I'm trying to get that piano flow in my chord improv. Not an easy feat for me.

David

Great David!
A thing I love to do is the cromatica passage in the dominant chord: when You have two bars of C7 for ex you can play C7 (0323) Dm7 (2233) Ebdim (3243) and C7 (4353)
Each chord for two beats...
The great thing of these voicings is that the C note in the high string remains in all the chirds while the others note are goin up...

Hey Dave,

Thanks for posting your video and asking for advice/suggestions/help. I’m learning along with you, brother! Someday I might be able to strum along, too.
