How do I create a percussive sounding note (Muted Chops) in TablEdit ?
kmwaters - Posted - 10/19/2013: 09:01:06
If you cannot find it in here, then it would require an email to them I suppose. Also, with a note highlighted (this assumes you have the full tabledit program of course and not just the viewer), you can press Alt+n and then s for special effects and then select the radio buttion for "Slap". That may give you the sound you are after as well.

Tam,
Are you talking about instruments chops such as mandolin, drums, guitar? Go to the top right hand corner of any tab or blank tab and left click on the module and a box will appear, then check in the "drum" box. Click on the tuning letters to the very left of the tab.
This will bring you to a series of percussive sounds and you can scroll down and select the sound or muted effect you want.
Another way is to go to your palettes display on either the top or bottom of your tab, (depending where you've put them), put your cursor on the note you want and click on the small "x" muted effect from the pallette menu...This may work for you...Jack p.s. I believe you'll need the full version of Tabledit to do this.
