The offense ocurred on Grape St. She should have thrown a grape. Even two grapes would have been alright.

Did you notice that in the comments to the article, someone said, "I'd throw a pumpkin at someone too if they were playing the banjo"?

There's just too much of this sort of thing happening lately. And you know it's only gonna get worse.
She only blew a 0.17 on the breathalizer. Back in my day, people only did such things with at least a .22.

I agree with Chip. This woman obviously has larger issues. She is fruit challenged,

Broke a window, crashed two guitars and one banjo all in one shot! And that was while she was three sheets. Imagine what she could do sober. Holy Mackerel, sign her up.![]()

Kitt. I'd say it's hard to miss when throwing a pumpkin. The perp was definitely out of her gourd that night.

This is all so sad.
There was a time when banjoists were to be found on the Hit Parade:

It's been a bad month for banjos in the news. I'm hoping Mike Gregory will cheer us up with a good quip on this one.

Dear Mr. & Mrs. John Q. Public:
I am sincerely sorry that you do not like my instrument of choice, but I am an addict and cannot help myself. Therefore, if you do not wish to hear me, keep out of my way.
P.S The police have been notified of your threats against my banjo.

Perhaps we can use the banjo pot to make pumkin soup and all will be forgiven.

The real question here is whether there are totally innocent banjo players? I would submit that all banjo players have it coming to some degree.

If you want to plumb the depths of banjo stereotyping, here's a link you're sure to like..... mentions banjos, NASCAR, rodeos, and hog-racing in the same breath.

If you are going to play the banjo, you should learn to use it as a sort of tennis racket to bat away any flying objects hurled at you! I think a pumpkin would require at least a 12" pot however.

That's OK, I got a 12" pot. On both banjos.
