I got to attend the Galax Old Fiddlers Convention last night. It was awsome - must be what my heaven will be like (except with a hot shower and my own private toliet).
Just to let everyone know the local FM station is streaming the competion live unedited from the main stage feed each night over the internet - you can pick it up at http://www.blueridgecountry98.com/
Here is the rest of the schedule - These times are Eastern - To hear the Clawhammer competiont on Thursday make sure you try early as it is the 1st event and starts at 6PM Eastern Time. From what I heard last night back in the camping area this would be a not to miss listening event for any clawhammer(ist)?

When I clicked the live streaming audio button, I found this note:
"Due to contractual obligations with the Moose, we are unable to stream the 73rd Annual Old Fiddler's Convention. We will be substituting music on both streams during this event."
Is this something different that the competition?
