I am looking for a teacher in Charlotte North Carolina (or near by) to teach me Clawhammer style at least twice a week. If there is anyone who can, PLEASE let me know or if you know some good tapes or DVD's that would be helpful too. Thanks

Well, I can't help you with a teacher, but if it's DVD's or video you're looking for check out Dan Levenson's Clawhammer from Scratch. There are two volumes, but I found Vol. 1 the most useful. You can also check out Old Woodchuck's Rocket Science Banjo lessons on-line at YouTube. Zepp also has on-line video lessons at zeppmusic.com. All three are members here and I'm sure others will have some suggestions as well. Good luck!
