Dave only start there. His objective is not just to learn songs (although we learn songs also) but to reallly understand the instrument and how to make music. For the first time I can understand the process that professional musicians use to improvise and play without tabs. He interjects theory in a very informative and easy to understand manner. His lessons are based on the students needs and not just going throug a book. My highest recommendation if you live in South Florida within driving range of Jupiter. Overall Rating 10

Sullivan Festival submitted 4/14/2005 Submitter briln Where Purchased First Quality Year Purchased 2005 Price Paid Don't Remember historic exchange rates / currency converter Sound Replaced bridge with a Sosebee Old Timber and adjusted the head tension. Really nice tone. great 4th string and tone right up the neck. You can feel the vibrations through the whole instrument. Not exactly like my 1983 Stelling Sunflower but really a joy. The sound is not overly bright. Very nice mellow sound with lots of punch. Sound Rating 10 Setup Action was well set. Only the head needed tightening Setup Rating 10 Appearance Mahogany finish not fancy but very good. Tortoise on the resonator has some spaces that needed filling but it is still very good. Excellent fit and finish on the rest. . Appearance Rating 9 Reliability Tuners work great. Presto Tailpiece only OK. Plating looks very good Reliability Rating 9 Customer Service Superior service. Bill Sullivan has been great answering any questions. A real genleman. Customer Service 10 Components Orrignal Snuffy bridge not great. Tailpiece is only Ok. The rest is very good.
