Overall Comments

I live in France and bought a few months ago a Stelling Golden Cross at Guns and Banjos.
Price was very competitive and I exchanged a LOT of mails with Clyde.
He always answered quickly and kindly.
Very professional and excellent for international customers !

Banjohut

Sound

Very delicate, but has a good volume.
You can play hard driving bluegrass on it.
I love this sound.
Not as powerful as my 2 others banjos (they are really LOUD !)

Setup

Action was very low.
Some buzzes on the 3rd string.
Just replaced the 5/8 " bridge with a vintage z elite 11/16" bridge.
No buzz and action is still low !
Great improvment with this bridge, tooks only 5 minutes.

Appearance

Very nice and well built. No defect on tree of life, frets, etc...
All is good !
Junction neck rim is flawless, you can feel the neck vibrate.
I've 2 others banjos with custom necks built by luthiers according with my specifications.
I prefer the neck of the Recording King.
It"s very easy to play.
Really impressive

Really nice.
Looks like a toy.
It's funny to play my regular banjo 6.8 kg and the banjoblaster, only 2.8 kg.

I really love the banjoblaster. I've wanted to play an electric guitar with a banjo neck, for that banjoblaster was my choice.
For the moment, I play the banjoblaster connected with an AER alpha.
I've the intention to buy a Fender GDEC for playing blues, rock and metal !!!
Just one thing, I live in France 145 $ shipping taxes and...
225 $ customs taxes, oops...
