I agree 100% with the previous review . I had seen the leather Reunion Blues bag and thought it would be handy to have , finally buying one from Janet last year.I was so surprised and impressed with the heft of this gig bag. Padding is so thick .
I wanted it to use going into small venues or houses , since I seem to bang doors .Plus my hard case takes up a fair amount of room.
I have only used my hard case once since owning this bag. I wouldnt stowe it on a plane but it a great quality product and very handy to have.
JDMC ...always tops.

The Reunion Blues Leather Banjo Gig Bag may possibibly be the ultimate in gig bags. It certainly is one of the most expensive, but for good reason. I chose the Burgundy color that matches the finish on my banjo. It is also available in good ole' Black. Reunion Blues seems to have thought of everything.needed in a good protective bag. The shock absorbing foam is about an inch thick in every dimension. The backstrap hadware and strap webbing are very robust. Heavy duty zippers are found on the case closure as well as the accessory compartment on the outside. Inside the bag there is a large covered foam neck support as well as a velcro strap that secures the neck within the bag. This is a great idea. The bag screams quality, and in this "case" you get what you pay for. The price may scare you away at first, but this is a lifetime bag that will only get better with age as the leather softens and creases. These currently go for around $380, but you may be fortunate to get a good deal with a coupon promotion. I highly recommend this gig bag.
