Picked up this sweet little mute as an "aniversary gift" for my wife...These are very similar to the Gold Tone style mutes but cost about HALF as much. These mutes REALLY deaden/dampen the sound, almost end up with a guitar like quality, but very pleasant. Very easy install/remove and even look pretty stylish. I always prefer to hear the banjo "ring", but this excellent mute lets me increase available practice time, play with different sounds, and preserve domestic harmony. Mike was excellent to deal with as well, shipped it really fast. I had my mute in about two days. Recommended! |
