Sullivan makes top notch stuff and I'm a fan of most everything old so couldn't wait to try this old growth factory floor bridge (maple/ebony, uncompensated) on my 1929 Granada archtop and on my RK85. If you want a good, rich tone, this is a good one. However, I like a bright, biting sound with clear, deep tones and this one is a bit muted for my taste. Workmanship is flawless, but I went back to Snuffy Smith. |
