Sound
I wanted a banjo that I could play alot of reno style single string licks on and not have them sound like the notes are merging together, which happens on my other instrument. This banjo has fantastic base/low end, if I move toward the neck it becomes incredibly rich sounding, but move back to the bridge and it's an awesome bluegrass machine with a bright clear sound. |

Setup
The banjo was setup for me personally by the maker, so no problems there. |

Appearance
again, the appearance was customized for me, but I'm extremely pleased with it, the inlays are a mixture of timber and pearl, with some marquetry on the resonator. Always a head turner at sessions. |

My banjo came with fantastic tuners, most of the hardware is actually made exclusively for Aaron's instruments, and is, in my opinion, some of the best I've seen. everything is well built, and after 4 years I can't see any signs of this banjo not outlasting me! |

Overall Comments
I don't know what I would do if this banjo was stolen, I guess I would approach Aaron for another one, but to me it's irreplaceable. In fact, I am going to have another made at some point to be more of a working/gigging instrument, just so I never have to worry about this one. |
