Dead as a Dodo. Sent it back. Got a replacement quite quickly. Worked OK for 3 weeks, then began failing to register on the low D string. Replaced battery. Then it failed altogether. It lights up but the needle just sits there while I twang away in frustration. When it worked it seemed terrific. Now I just want my money back. Overall Rating 1

It will get your tuning in the ballpark but you'll still need to do final tweaking by ear. Works better on a banjo and a mandolin than on a guitar - it has real trouble with low E. And the buttons rattle, so you won't want to leave it on the instrument while you play. Overall Rating 6

It works by contact, which makes it possible to tune in noisy environments. It is also backlit, so you can use it in the dark. Downsides: The buttons rattle, so I cannot keep it on my banjo while playing. It is not extremely precise, so I don´t use it for studio works. Also, it is not very quick. Great tuner for the money. Great concept. Great design. Works perfectly, even when you can't escape from background noise. The only thing I would want is a battery meter. When the battery gets low, it has a hard time finding the pitch. Overall Rating 10
