Sound
|
This banjo has amazingly consistent sound. I really love it for Irish music but it shine's with Bluegrass as well. The sound has both bottom end and high end in a very pleasing balance. It rings with the best of them. I get compliments when I play this one. |

Setup
|
Setup action was adjusted to my preference after I bought it slighlty used. No other change was needed except I tightened the head a bit. |

Appearance
|
A beautiful instrument with gold plated hardware and an inlay pattern of Red Roses with green stems. The wood patterning on the resonator is as lovely as the neck inlays. A banjo this pretty should not sound so great ! |

Reliability

Built like my Stelling Staghorn, it will last much longer than I will. Have not played enough to judge the finish but it seems very durable. |

Customer Service
|
Have not dealt with Chris Bozung yet. He did send me a gold plated screw for the tailpiece even though I was not the original owner. Not usre about warranty service, probably won't need any. |

The McPeake tone ring is appealing as a Church Bell.. |

I love this baby, it's in serious competition with my 1982 Staghorn. I like that it's little lighter than my Stelling.
