Sound

The banjo sounds like a dream (I play bluegrass). I played the Earl Scruggs Gibson at the Store in the mall and this is the only banjo I've ever heard that is comparible to that.

Setup

The Banjo was set up well by Guitar Center. I am no expert on setting up a banjo, but I do know that it sounds great.

Appearance

The banjo looks great and it is not overly frilly. The only issue is that it needs to be polished a bit.

Reliability

This banjo, like all good banjos is heavy and appears to be made to last.

Customer Service

I called the guys at Crafters just to get info on the banjo and they were really great. How often can you call the manufacturer and just talk to them about your banjo for 20 minutes.

This is the nicest banjo I've ever played or heard. I'm lucky to have found one that was even affordable. I would throw myself off a bridge if it got stolen.

Sound

Has got alot of punch to it, with good bass. When you capo from frets 2 to 5 it sounds alot like a RB-75 Crowe, and almost just like the one one Crowe`s CD. Very very clear

This one`s gold plated, but that`s not standard. But even if it were standard nickel it would look great.

There are alot of great banjos you can get in this price range. (2400`s) I`ve played several Crafters of Tennessee banjos and they all have a great distinct sound. This is a cheaper model but sounds as great as the rest.
