I like to play fiddle tunes and some Scruggs style tunes. This banjo is perfect for both. Has great bass response, and up the neck has the perfect ring. Extremely loud banjo, you can hear it from a block away Sound Rating 10 Setup The banjo was set up just the way I ask for it to be. The builder went the extra step to make sure it was exactly what I wanted. The action is perfect and very easy to play. Joe, the owner of the company emailed and called several times to confirm how I wanted it set up and took the time to make sure it was. All this was at no charge Setup Rating 10 Appearance .Beautiful finish. Walnut neck and resonator. The resonator has a dark finish that just looks rich. The walnut has a fantastic pattern. I believe it is one of the nicest looking resonators I have seen on a walnut banjo Appearance Rating 10 Reliability .All the metal parts are top notch. The builder did not skimp on any of the hardware. These parts will last a lifetime. All the metal parts were polished to a high shine and not a fingerprint was on them anywhere Reliability Rating 10 Customer Service The Banjo came with a one-year warranty, but I'm sure that would be extended if there ever were a problem. I can’t possibly see how anything could go wrong other than a possible adjustment here and there. The customer service from this company was beyond the call of duty. The owner stayed in touch and let me know exactly where the banjo was in the building process. The owner even loaned me a banjo to play while this one was being built. I highly recommend this banjo for anyone who plays professional or not. At the price I just don't believe you can beat it.
