I compared it to a gibson rb and in my opinoin it completely outdid the Gibson. The tone is very consistent on all strings. Also, the volume is very, very consistent over all strings and all positions on the neck. Sound Rating 10 Setup This banjo was setup by Joe J. of the Arkansas banjo co. and is very easy to play. The neck is super fast. Setup Rating 10 Appearance This banjo is the first one made in the Ozarks model. It has a mahogay back and gold tone ring and is very impressive visually. Appearance Rating 10 Reliability The finish appears to be very durable and all of the hardware seems to be very reliable. Reliability Rating 10 Customer Service The Dawson Music Company in Clinton,Arkansas is a very good place to do business. The personnel are friendly and will do anything almost for the customer to be satisfied. If I was thinking about buying an Arkansas banjo I would go to Dawson Music .
