The Superior case mentioned above isn't bad (I briefly owned one), but if you can find one, the TKL Concept 2.9 (a/k/a TKL 8740) has better latches. Problem -- for some reason, this thing is difficult to find in stock, and it's not even on TKL's website. Seems to be one in stock from a vendor per Reverb: https://reverb.com/item/1828208-tkl-8740-concept-2-9-molded-5-string-banjo-case-free-shipping?device=c&gclid=CJm49LXKkNUCFRGJfgodWwIKuA It is a very good case, at least as sturdy as a regular wood TKL hardcase, weighs maybe 6 pounds is my guesstimate, but I've never tried flying with one. I suspect it's less sturdy than a Hoffee or Calton, but it does weigh quite a bit less.
Disclaimer: I have no idea whether the Concept case above actually is in stock, not familiar with the vendor on Reverb. Banjo.com used to stock these, that's where I got mine 5 years ago, you could call Barry Waldrep and see if he has one around or expects to get any.
