 What kind of grover tuners are these?

Just wondering if I can get some info about these grover tuners on my Wynn banjo. I havnt seen ones like them before, they have two stars on either side of he word grover.

also included the 5th string tuner which appears to have been gold plated at some point.

Those are the model 122C5 Grover With the square Pearloid buttons.

Rotomatics and Perma-Tension pegs are still available with those squared knobs but the planet pegs are not.

You can still get a matching geared 5th. The part numbers are 163C (chrome) and 163N (nickel)


 

Your 5th is nickel plated. Some alloys look like that when they get old enough.
