Hey Folks-  I finally got the new website up for Beansprout Banjos.  Right now I am just doing a mini five string and two sizes of banjo ukes.  I will get back to open back banjos next year after my commitments to Mya-Moe ukuleles are done.  www.thebeansprout.com

Cheers!

Looks great Aaron!  I also live in the Pacific Northwest. That is interesting that you use pistachio for fretboards. I looked it up. It appears to be available in different colors sometimes. Are you able to source any of the darker reddish pistachio?  It's pretty. Might make a nice rim too. I have a cocobolo rim that I love. Pistachio might sound pretty good too. I also have a flush fret from 1870 that has a solid one piece Brazilian rosewood neck. It sounds great! Can you get pistachio in blocks large enough for a neck? (Full scale). Best Wishes, Tom

Hey Tom-  yes, I can get pistachio in many colors, including the red/pink.  I can get neck size material, but likely as a five price lamination instead of three.  I have done one rim with pistachio and three rims with just a pistachio tone ring.

Aaron, very exciting and beautiful instruments. I have benefited greatly from your uke videos on You Tube. In addition to being a genuine craftsman you are also awesome teacher and musician. I live in Missoula Mt and may have to make a drive one of these days to pick up one of your mini 5's. Best of luck! Rick
