I have used the Snuffy bridge through the years on various banjo's and have one on three banjo's now. Although I never met Snuffy he made a BIG impact on the banjo world. I wonder if anyone will carry on with the SS Bridges - of course too early for the family to do anything now but deal with this huge loss! my prayers are with them. The bridges indeed great.

My ESS Gibson came with one. It sounds great to me, so I see no reason to change. |

I have three in my possession. They are on both of my flatheads, and I have a spare.
I guess it is time to post this picture again.

I have used may of Snuffy's bridges, strings, and a few heads over the years. Good stuff. I love the message on his string packages, "Earl Scruggs has never used these strings (that I know of)." I currently have several on my banjos and some spares in the drawer.
RIP Snuffy!

Been using them since '93. They've made my banjos sound like I want them to. Eric Ellis |

I've used many builders' bridges but I always seem to come back to my favorite Snuffy bridge.

Danny, I have used Snuffy's bridges for years. Both my Pyramid and my Gibson copy have Snuffy bridges on them now.

Right now I have 6 of them in use on 6 banjos. One is marked Jan. 1990, back when that was the only banjo I had. No sag in it! |

I've got one on all three of my banjos. I've tried others, but always went back to Snuffy. |

I have a total of four, but use Gary Sosebee on my ESS. I used the Snuffy on my Deering Golden Era until I sold it.

I use one on my banjo & I love it. I got to meet Snuffy Smith while I was Standing in line for the banjo competition @ the Galax Fiddlers Convention last year. He came right up to me & asked what kind of bridge I was using & I had no idea who he was because I bought the bridge from John Boulding. So I showed him my bridge & he said "oh that's one of mine, thank you for Using it!" |

I have used them for more than 30 years....there is a Snuffy bridge on every banjo I own. There is none better - the bridge or the man. I will miss him greatly.

Hey Danny....
I use Snuffy's bridges on several of my banjos as well and bought them in qtys from Snuffy personally to use in my shop and put them on customer's banjos when needed.
He made a good bridge, and yes he will be missed greatly!
