There were many fine offers for this banjo; thanks to everyone who responded. As it turns out, I'll be able to experience and react to a fine Yates banjo in trade. I'm looking forward to it!
A very nice example of a Gibson Blackjack for sale or trade. 75-0709-38:

Blackjacks are my favorite Gibsons and having played this one on several occasions, I can tell you it is a good one and you won't be disappointed. The combination of mahogany, rosewood and gold is sublime.

If I were looking for an all-original Gibbie, this is what I'd be jumping on, and John is EXCEPTIONAL to deal with. Just look at the beautiful photos and how well he represents his instrument. First class!
Let's get it sold!

Thank you for the nice comments, Gentlemen.
She's still available, and indicated to me last night that she'd prefer a slightly warmer climate. :-)
Best,
John

Hey John,
It's suppose to be in the 80's in Howey in the Hills, tomorrow. Is that warm enough?

I agree Dan, and every instrument is exactly as discribed or better. John is the best.

Hey John, I have a Kentucky mandolin I'd be willing to trade back to you. Haha. That is a beauty. That is probably the most desirable production banjo for me. Maybe the most of all. |

I didn't think this banjo would siill be for sale. If I had not just obtained one of Johns fine banjos, I would jump on this one. Blackjacks are in a class by themselves in the finest banjo catagory.
