PEKING IN ON YOU...

 is performed on the new Angels of Mercy a banjo built jointly by Bill Rickard and myself. It was recorded by my student Will Turner on his cell phone... will wonders never cease! This is a strong voiced instrument, clear and resonant. In fact it overdrives the phones small mic in places. Still I do hope you enjoy the tune and the ANGEL.

Nice lyrical piece. The banjo has a huge sound - really punches out the complete range of the instrument in an impressively balanced and toneful way.

Here are a few tunes played on the ANGEL. . These were recorded quite simply, in stereo, with 2 AT-4033 mic's. No gimicks, no overdubs, no effects. What you hear is what you get. The banjo is currently strung with light gage strings.
