We always do this song on Homecoming at my church, and I've recently been inspired to do a banjo backup for it. I can't find any tabs for the life of me and I'm not good enough to do it myself yet. I would appreciate it if anyone could help me out.
This is what gave me the idea.

It is also my dream to play this on the 'jo. Next time I'm up in North Georgia, we should put our heads together and try to tab it ourselves. We could start by picking out the melody, just bare bones. After we figure that out, we could build from there with rolls and such. I don't know if it's in 3/4 or 4/4 time, but we can find out.
You've got a good enough ear that you could find the melody. If I've got time this evening, I might could try my hand at tabbing out and sending it to you. Let me know what you think. |

What key do you need it in?
Scruggs style?
Clawhammer?
Preferred tuning?
