This Sunday, August 30th, there will be a Benefit Concert from 1:00pm to 7:00pm held at the Arcadia Fire Hall in Upperco, Maryland (on Route 30 between Reisterstown and Hampstead)
Rick Miller, the lead singer for Satyr Hill Band, has some serious medical bills to pay, so the bluegrass community around Maryland is gathering Sunday for 6 hours of bluegrass music to raise funds for Rick.
There are 12 bands participating, each playing for 30 minutes.

I really want to go to this show. Not only are there a ton of local bands that I want to see, but it sounds like a great cause. I'm gonna be in Annapolis most of the day, but I'll do what I can to stop by, even if it's only for 5 minutes and contribute at the door.
