More About Me
Got my first banjo, from an uncle, when I was 16.
That would be 1961. Just in time to get swept up in the "Folk Music " revival.
Learned a few chords on it, tenor style.
Eventually got into 5-string.
My idea is to have FUN with the banjo, so I don't get into the really advanced techniques.
I call my method the Lazy Easy way.
Strumming first, to get used to changing chords.
Then a simple 2-finger method.
Also an introduction to Seeger style, and a few basic Bluegrass moves.
I can get you started, and it's been a fun journey for me, these last fifty years or so.
