WTB, Alvarez Montana 5 Star

I am looking for a Alvarez Montana 5 Star, Model 4286 in Excellent to Near Mint condition. Would prefer the seller was close to Atlanta, GA so I could play the banjo before I buy it but will consider regardless of location.

I have looked at the two listed in the Hangout classifieds. The one from PA is a little out of my price range and I do not like the capo rod. I would consider the one from Miami, FL but would prefer one from later in the 70's.

Harbor Freight Ring Roller For Sale - Like New-NEVER USED

I bought this to make a tone hoop for a Goodtime banjo, but ended up trading the Goodtime before I could make the hoop. It's been sitting in my shop for a year totally unused. I'm sure someone here can use it so I'm letting it go for $50.00 + $16.00 Priority Shipping.
These sell new for $72.99. Here's the link: harborfreight.com/gear-driven-...6790.html
You might need to do some minor clean up of the knurling to keep the roller from marring your stock. There are several threads on this on BHO, so check it out. I'll answer any questions, but this is a no refund sale, so ask for any details or additional pictures. My BHO feedback is 100% positive so buy with confidence.

For Sale or Trade: AMB NASA aluminum tonering

Hi Everyone,

I have for sale or trade one of the American Made Banjo Company's NASA aluminum tonerings. This is a really light tonering (about two pounds lighter than a standard ring) and it sounds pretty good. It is very clear and even with a great midrange. I would sell it for $250 shipped or I might be interested in trading it for something, like some old nationals or old tailpieces.

You can find out more about the ring here http://www.americanmadebanjo.com/product_info.php?cPath=24&products_id=74

banjo1930@yahoo.com

thanks!

-Gabe

Gary Price banjo case insulated cover $ reduced

I have a used, but like new Price banjo insulated cover from Gary Price cases. It fits the "triangular type" banjo case. I bought it when I bought my case. it is gray in color, zips around case with velcro cover where the handle comes through. It has a shoulder strap, that hooks to cover. I used this cover two times. It is insulated against any extreme temperatures as well. Anything Gary Price makes is A-1. In classified section under banjo accessories. I reduced price to $100.

I told my neighbor that I would help her find a banjo to get started on. She has been persistently asking me about it and she seems to be pretty serious about learning the banjo. She's also loves to listen to John Hartford! I'm looking for a Deering Parlor Banjo, but am interested in other short scale banjos. Thanks for any help.

WTB Liberty "Quadrille"

Assuming my Huber is sold, I am searching for a clean, unaltered Liberty "Quadrille" model in my budget range. If you have one you are willing to part with, contact me under "proclaims". "Original" is even more important to me than condition, but it must be reasonably decent, meaning it can be cleaned up.

Don't you really appreciate this site? Thanks, guys!
