Well what else can I say about Mr. John Boulding. On my privies review (04/23/12) I wrote that I was going to send him my RK85, well got it back a couple of weeks ago. I shipped the banjo and a box of parts. He had 2 rims 2 sets hardware and 3 tone rings to come up with the best sounding combo. Before he shipped it back he told me what he did and said he gave it a prewar tone. I got back a cannon of a banjo with a prewar sound. I'm very happy with his work and prices. John will be my set-up guy from now on. I'm now a true believer that we should let a pro set it up. It's ok for the average guy to maintain his own banjo but the set-up should be done by a pro like John. Thanks again John for a great job! |
