Overall Comments

Just got my JDL and love it. I don't know about the sound being any better, I have tons of tortoise shell guitar and mandolin picks, and prefer them to Blue Chip, but don't have any thumb picks. What I really wanted to comment on was that it fits. I have posted several times about needing a large pick. All I tried were too small except the saddle picks, and I really didn't like the striking surface, but it fit.
When I got the JDL I thought it would never fit, but when I opened it up and put it on, it fit comfortably, and did not slip. In addition, the way it strikes the strings is great, the angle is optimal, and it feels very natural. If you are looking for a large thumb pick that is comfortable and strikes well, I would highly recommend the JDL.
