I've only had this banjo a week now but wow, what a banjo. Its been put together and played some since 9/2011 and does sound good. It IS loud with wonderful deep tone. Lots of bottom. It rings well up the neck and the bridge Arthur makes... Well it works!!! First banjo I've ever had thats in tune all the way up and down... |

Setup
|
Not only was the banjo set up, Arthur spent hours with me and the banjo to make sure it was EXACTLY like I wanted it. Even when He saw I was unsure about something and didn't even know how to get my point across, He knew what I was wanting and knew how to adjust it. |

Appearance

The looks of this banjo are 2nd to none. The inlay is the prettiest I've seen and I love the darker finish on the mahagony. This thing shines! |

Customer Service

There is nobody in the business that is more helpful or friendly than Arthur and Bev Hatfield. His is the only warranty I truly believe that if needed, would be a no questions asked kinda deal. He's a man of his word and bends over backwards for his customers/friends. |

Standout components? Has to be Arthurs hand made necks... These are just the best thing going. There are NO weak or cheap parts on his banjos. |

Making the 14 hour trip up to Arthurs to pick up my banjo was a very memorable experience. I would've been excited to have gotten it off the big brown truck when it pulled up but being there at Arthurs to see where it was born was beyond words. From waking up in the cool early morning fog in Bowling Green, to the very Norman Rockwell scenic drive to Arthurs, to finally seeing the shop and all the banjos, then finally hearing him play my banjo live was an experience I'll always cherish. Arthur Hatfield and his banjos are a Bluegrass treasure and I highly recommend you go see for yourself. What I ended up with was the best banjo I've ever owned yet that wasn't even the half of it.... |

These cases are incredible. I've had two Caltons and those are great cases. I can really see a difference in quality between the Price and Calton. The Price really shines! |

This case is the best banjo case I've ever owned. If I had to try and find a negative thing to say about it Id really have to be nit picky to do it. Its kinda heavy but about the same as a Calton. I kinda expected much more storage room too having two compartments. Although compared to any other case, except an Anvil case, this case has much more storage. |
